Sotiris Debonos – ENTWINED

Original Movie Picture Soundtrack. The feature film will be released in movie theatres during the summer of 2020. Soundtrack released on CD and streaming / download May, 22. A limited edition in the vinyl format will follow next autumn.

Composer Sotiris Debonos started out as a composer for music for the theatre and later on for the cinema.
In 1998, he won the reward of “Musical Achievements” at the short film festival of Drama city in Greece.
He is participating in recordings and in bands, playing contemporary and improvised music.
His main current band is the Farwest Mandolinistic Orchestra.
During the 2010s he has abandoned the acoustic sound, using at his solo live shows custom electric mandolin/guitar, pedals and looping software, combined with synchronized Video Art.
From 1996 to 2013 he has released 5 solo albums under his own name. All of them in physical format only. “Entwined” is his first solo album since 2013 and his first album that will be released in digital format, too.

Director Minos Nikolakakis (born in 1980) has been producing / directing short films since 2000.
They focus on themes of cultural heritage, myth and magic realism. They have participated in International Festivals (including LA Shorts Fest, Cinemed Montpellier, Uppsala and Flickers Fest). They have had a theatrical release and have received awards.
“Etwined” is his first feature film. It premiered at the Discovery section of the 44th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The Free Spirit section of the 35th International Film Festival of Warsaw followed, as well as the 60th Thessaloniki International Film Festival (where the film won the Best Location Award)
and the World Panorama section of the 50th India International Film Festival in Goa.
