The songs of the album Κάρμα Κομεντί combine contemporary indie-rock composition and production techniques, although they initially draw inspiration from memories of rebetiko music. The result is that their particularly melodic and rhythmic elements seem to slip through romantic, psychedelic landscapes.
Treefon Lazos will perform the songs from his album live with his electric guitar and percussion, using live looping techniques, while maintaining the unique feel of the album and illuminating the songs in a new way.
He recently presented something similar on his YouTube channel, launching the “Living Room Sessions” video series with the song that opens the album, “Kallidromiou.”
