Two years after the release of their debut, the Next Step Quintet presents their new album, the result of their collaboration with New York saxophonist Tivon Pennicott.
“2″ includes 7 new compositions, featuring the band’s characteristic sound.At the same time, however, Next Step, with great confidence and effectiveness, explore new sonic paths.
The new album proves that technical perfection, groove, and beautiful melodies can coexist harmoniously.The dynamic atmosphere in “The Architect” with the characteristic bow strokes of the double bass, the ingenious and masterful solos in “Erotic Warfare,” the clever groove in “Rosalinda’s Dance,” and the effortless melodiousness of “The Last Dance” are just some of the samples of the high caliber of this album.
