The creative and prolific saxophonist and composer Yiannis Kasetas presents his latest album, “Far,” at the Poetry Bar in Exarchia.
The album “Far” was released last spring on vinyl, CD, and streaming by Puzzlemusik and consists exclusively of compositions by the musician inspired by the impressionism of Claude Debussy, the idiosyncratic jazz of the East by Tigran Hamasyan, and contemporary New York jazz. Always with Yiannis Kassetas’ personal touch, characterized by his ability to create images and even stories through his music. It is no coincidence that the great American saxophonist Craig Handy has described him as “the jazz Ennio Morricone of Greece.”

He will be accompanied by the amazing musicians: Kostis Christodoulou (piano), Dimitris Papadopoulos (trumpet), Giannis Vagianos (bass), Giorgos Maniatis (drums).
