“Panakoustikon” for clarinet, violin, piano (a pianist and a performer ad lib.) and electronic sounds composed by Laurent Durupt is taken from the ARTéfacts Ensemble CD “THIVA Km102″ released on Puzzlemusik on April 3, 2015.
“THIVA Km102″ was an Art Therapy Workshop organised by Amaka N.G.O. held in the women prison of Thiva the year 2013-2014.

The database of sounds used by the composers (Laurent Durupt, Balazs Horvath, Maurilio Cacciatore, Branka Popovic, Nicolas Tzortzis and Dimitris Andikopoulos) was recorded during the workshop. Fourteen women participated and during a year produced content of different media (painitng, photography, music, video etc). “THIVA Km102″ is part of a broader European Program called “Parol – Writing and Art Beyond Walls, Beyond Borders”, financed by the Culture EU program, which run workshops of Art in fifteen different European prisons, in five countries: Italy, Serbia, Begium, Poland and Greece.
